Day 29

Today I am thankful for my puppy Luna. 

She is ADORABLE! I miss her like crazy. I wish I could have a puppy in my apartment but I am not allowed. :( Oh well. So that is what I am thankful for today. 

Also I cannot believe that November is over on Thursday. I feel like that went way to fast. But that means that Christmas is almost here!!!!!!!

Days 24-28

24. Cheese: I love cheese! I love cheese fries and mozzarella sticks! 

 These are the cheese fries from Texas Roadhouse and they are my favorite!!!!

25. Singing/A Voice: I love music and I am so thankful that I have a voice so I can sing the beautiful music there is in my life!

26. Sports: I love watching sports. I love football and hockey the most. They are so much fun to watch!

27. Disney: I absolutely LOVE Disney! I think it is fantastic. I love that it has great stories and good morals that kids can learn from. I'm 23 and I still watch Disney movies regularly! :)

28. Dr. Pepper: I LOVE Dr. Pepper. It is my favorite soda of all time. Without it I think I would send alot of my time in a sleepy stupor. LOL. 

Warrior/Day 23

I saw one of the best movies ever last night. It is called Warrior.

It was FANTASTIC!!!!!! I highly recommend it. It is about 2 brothers who enter a MMA tournament and the plot is great. There is great character development. When they were excited I was excited, when they were nervous I was nervous. It actually made me tear up, kind of silly I know but it was really moving. So I would STRONGLY recommend going to see this movie.

On another note, today I am thankful for texting. I think that it is a great way to communicate. I don't really like to talk on the phone, especially when there is that awkward silence (you know what I am talking about, lol). I just love that I can constantly stay in contact with friends and family through texting. :)

Day 22

Today I am thankful for enemies. I think that having enemies makes you become stronger. I have one particular person in mind (not going to name names). We were so close, the best of friends, however she was a really mean person. She treated me badly and was awful to other people. It took me awhile to realize that I was a mean person when I was with her (despite what some people told me). We finally ended up having a huge falling out and we are no longer friends. I wouldn't say we were enemies per say, but there was definitely so stabbing in the back. But after all of the fighting and everything was done, I realized that I am a better person without her. I am stronger and I am closer to other people that she hurt while we were "friends". So in the end I am thankful that we are not friends anymore but I am more thankful for the growth that I experienced. So thank you, for stabbing me in the back. :)

Day 19, 20 and 21

So I was super lazy this weekend and I did not feel like blogging, oh well Monday always comes.

19. I am thankful for friends. I don't know what I would do without my friends. They keep me together. They make me laugh and they make me feel better when I cry. I have some really good friends here in Utah and I miss all of my many friends in PA.

This is Raymond and Jenesis. I love them! They are two of my fantastic friends. They are engaged and getting married in Jan and I am in the wedding :)

20. I am thankful for chocolate! I love chocolate, especially chocolate with peanut butter. 

These are some of my favorite candy bars. I love chocolate!

21. I am thankful for love. Love is an amazing thing. It can make you do stupid things though, lol. I have been in love twice and it was hard to end those relationships because I was in love, but I realized that I loved myself more and could not stay with either of those boys.

Day 18

Today I am thankful for trials. I know that this can seem like a odd thing to be thankful for, but I am. Trials are so difficult when they are happening but once they are done, I tend to learn so much. I learn about myself every time. They start as a trial but then turn into a blessing. So that is why I am thankful for trials in my life.

*Oh and a side note: I saw Breaking Dawn Part 1 last night and it was FANTASTIC! Plus I get to see it tonight again :)

Day 17

In a earlier post I said that I was thankful for my kindle, well today I am thankful for books in general. I love reading. It is my favorite pastime. I love curling up under a blanket and reading a book. I am currently reading a new series that my friend, Angie, from work.

It is called the Black Dagger Brotherhood and it is so addicting and fantastic. 

I am completely in love with these books. (side note: if you get offended by sex or language, DO NOT read these books) So if you are looking for a good read, go to your library and get the first one: Dark Lover. 

Anyway I also love tons of books: Harry Potter, Twilight (yes I am a Twihard, lol), Stephanie Plum Series and so many more.

Day 16

Today I am thankful for Facebook.

Thank you Mark Zuckerburg!

I know it can seem like a weird thing to be thankful for but without it, I would not be able to stay in touch with so many of my friends.

Without it I would not be able to know relationship status' of my friends. Kind of sad when that is how you find out. LOL

Without it you would not be able to facebook stalk a blind date or an ex boyfriend or even an ex friend. 

Oh, facebook, where would I be without you!

Day 15

Today I am grateful for my family here in Utah. Mainly my Aunt Barbara and Uncle Brian and their kids. I love them! I get to go over to their house every Sunday for dinner and I look forward to it all week. I love being able to hang out with them and go to all of their many events whether it is Soccer or Tae Kwan Do or whatever else. I am really thankful for them this time of year because I am not able to go home to PA for the holidays, so I am so glad that I have them here so I can have someplace to go for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Day 14

Today I am grateful for email. If I did not have email I would not be able to stay in touch with my brother and cousin and other friends who are on missions. I am so glad that we have this technology so that I would be able to stay in touch with my loved ones who are so far away.

Day 13

Today I am thankful for the scriptures. I love everything that we can learn from them. If you have a question and a prayer in your heart, you will be able to find it in the scriptures.

Day 12

Today i'm thankful for movies. I love all types of movies. I'm a total movie buff. I own over 100 movies and I want to own even more.

Day 11

Today I am thankful for my tv shows that I watch. I watch so many and I enjoy watching them so much. I find myself connecting with the characters and I worry about them. Sometimes I have to remind myself that it is just a show and not real life.

So here are a few of my fav shows:

 I love musicals so I love this show. I think that the mashups and songs they do are AMAZING!

I have always loved this show. This is one of the shows that I have to remind myself that it is not real life. LOL

Day 10

Today I am thankful for my bed. I'm thankful that I have one and that I can get a good nights sleep every night.

Day 9

I am thankful for my kindle. I love it so much! I love that I am able to read anything I have on it at anytime. I can carry it around with me wherever I go. It is probably one of the best gifts I have ever received!

Day 8

8. I am thankful for music. Without music in my life, I think I would be lost. My music helps me through so much. Whatever I am feeling, I can find a song or band that helps me through it. Music is also a way that I feel the spirit so I am so thankful for music in my life.

Days 5, 6 and 7.

5. I am thankful for the temple. I got to go to the temple on Saturday and I love being able to go and feel the spirit and to be able to do work that needs to be done.
6. I am thankful for my job. I am so glad that I got a job. I am glad that I am able to support myself. I am grateful for the friends that I make through the jobs that I have had.
7. I am thankful for my car. It is a great little car and is super dependable. It gets from point A-Z and every point in between.

I am Thankful Day 4

4. I am thankful for Heavenly Father. He is such a huge aspect in my life. I know that He loves me and cares about me. He is continuously blessing me in my daily life. I know that I can always count on Him and He will help me out when I need it and sometimes when I think I don't need it. I love Him and am so grateful that I know that He cares for me and takes time to listen to me and to help me. 

Things I am Thankful For....Days 1-3

Okay since it is that wonderful time of the year where we start thinking about what we are thankful for, I decided that I would post 1 thing I am thankful for every day. But since it is the 3rd of November I am going to do 3 in one post :)
1. My Family: I love my family so much! They are so awesome! I am so thankful for their examples in my life. I have my Dad, who is so strong in the gospel and he is my rock. I love him so much and am so thankful that I was given him as a father. My Mom and I are so much alike, which can cause problems at times, but is so fun! We like the same types of books which is great! I am a major reader and I love to read all types of books. My brother, Josh is a fantastic example to me. He recently left on his mission and I am so proud of him. I think it is great that he would sacrifice 2 years to teach the gospel. I love him and miss him every day. My sister, Amanda is just a fun girl. She can always make me laugh and she gives the best fashion advice. She is a fabulous basketball player and is so fun to watch! I LOVE MY FAMILY!
2. Emma Stuckey: She is my best friend and I am so thankful for her. She has kept me going when I am down. I broke with my boyfriend about 2 months ago and she was there whenever I needed her. I can always count on her to make me laugh. She is always getting me hooked on new tv shows. She has hooked me on: Bones, Chuck, Leverage, Castle, Franklin and Bash, Studio 60 and probably some more that I can't think of right now. She is an amazing person and a fantastic friend and I love her!
3. The Gospel: I LOVE the Gospel! It is AMAZING!!! It has brought me close to my Heavenly Father and I have received so many blessing from it. It helps me with all of my decisions and helps me be a better person. It allows me to make good choices so that I am healthy and happy. I think that everyone should love the Gospel! I think that I have appreciated it even more now that I am living in Utah. There are so many members here but not everyone is a faithful member. I am so glad that I was raised in PA and was able to have such a strong testimony!
Those are my 1st three things I am thankful for. Till tomorrow.......

Update

WOW! It has been awhile since I have posted on this thing. LOL. I have been in Utah for a year and so much has happened. I have had jobs, lost jobs. I was dating this guy for a little over 8 months, however he decided he didn't want to be Mormon anymore so that ended. I feel like I have been so blessed even though I have had so many trials this year.
I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for everything He has given me. He has given me FANTASTIC friends who have helped me through all of the issues I have had. He has given me an AMAZING family who love me and care about me. He continues to give me guidance throughout my life. I am so thankful for Him and everything He has given me.
So what is going on right now in my life?
My little brother, Josh left on his mission 8 weeks ago and is doing so well in the MTC. He is serving in the Campinas, Brazil Mission. I know that he will be a fantastic missionary. He loves the gospel so much. My cousin, tanner just left on his mission about a month ago. He is serving in the Washington DC South Mission. I know he will do well as a missionary too. It is so weird to me that my little brother and cousin are gone for 2 years! I miss them both so much.
I am doing well. I just got a full time job, not a temp job-which is what I have been doing for the past couple of months. I am working for a company called ROI Solutions which is a customer service call center. I just started this past Monday but I am liking it so far. This is just another blessing from the Lord. I am living in an apartment with 3 other girls. I can't say that I like living with other girls but what can you do. LOL. I am still hanging out with my best friend Emma. I have also become great friends with a girl named Jenesis. She is actually getting married on Jan 3rd and I am a bridesmaid. :) So that is fun!
So that is a little update. I think that I am going to start posting regularly from now on. :)
