Palmyra

So I got to go to Palmyra, New York two times in the last 3 weeks. The first time was with the YSA and it was so much fun. This past weekend I went with Mary, Travis and the kids.....It was a BLAST!!!! We started the day bright and early at 5 am and took a 4 & 1/2 Hour drive to Palmyra. We then went to the Smith Farm and Sacred Grove which was very cool.

This is Bella and Wyatt, while we were sitting and waiting to go into the Frame home. After the tour we went to set up our campsite and then went to find lunch. after lunch there was a torrential downpour and we had to run to the car then run to the E.B. Grandin Press to take another tour. It was amazing how much work went into printing the first copies of the Book of Mormon.
So this is the manuscript of the Book of Mormon.

And this is the one of the original First Editions of the Book of Mormon....So Cool!!!! After the Grandin Press. We decided to drive over to the Peter Whitmer farm, which was also very, very cool.

Isaac and Wyatt sleeping on the way to the Peter Whitmer Farm.....It was just so cute, I had to take the picture :)
This cutie pie is Dakota and we were playing peek-a-boo and I captured this adorable picture.
Then later on we headed over to the Pageant, which ended up getting rained out, half way through the performance.
On Saturday, we started out the day by going to the Hill Cummorah.

This is Isaac and Wyatt sitting in front of the memorial.

The whole Whiting family: Bella, Wyatt, Mary, Isaac (on Mary's lap), Travis and Dakota (on Travis's lap) I love this Family !! :)
After the memorial, we drove an hour and a half to Niagra Falls, which was soooo amazing. We got to go on the Maid of the Mist and it was so awesome to be so close to the falls. It was an AMAZING weekend and I am so glad I got to go with them :)
