Yesterday!

Yesterday was a fantastic day! I got to talk to my brother! If you don't already know, my brother is currently serving a 2 year mission for the church. He is in Brazil and he has been gone for 4 months. I miss him so much. It has been very weird and hard to get used to not being able to talk to him or shoot him a text whenever I want to. Yesterday he called and we talked for 25 minutes! We probably would have talked to him longer but he didn't have anymore time. He sounded GREAT! He has grown so much already and I am so thankful for him in my life. He is a great example to me. He told me about how awesome Brazil is and how he loves learning the gospel even more. He was also telling me about the different stuff he wants to bring home for me. It was awesome. I am so grateful for technology so that I could talk to my brother who is a different country. I have to say that the call yesterday made my week and my Christmas.

Christmas Can't be Very Far Away

I love that song! It is by Amy Grant and she is one of my favorite artists to listen to during Christmas time. I also LOVE Josh Groban. I love listening to Christmas music and I can't believe that Christmas is only 6 days away. December is going sooooooooooooooo FAST! 

I am kind of sad because I don't get to go home for the holidays, but thankfully I have my aunt, uncle and cousins in Springville who let me come over to spend the holidays with them. 

This time of year always makes me think about my Savior so much more than other times in the year. He is always in my thoughts but I think that I remember everything He has done for me a lot more. I am so thankful for Him and everything He did while He was here on the Earth and everything He continues to do.

Roommate Issues! HELP!

So I have had my share of roommates and I would say I am a pretty tolerant roommate. BUT, I have these 2 roommates right now that are driving me CRAZY and making me pretty uncomfortable. These 2 roommates never do their dishes or take out the trash. NEVER! They never clean up after themselves. Our kitchen is constantly a mess and I (or my other roommate Teri) have to clean it up frequently. Most of the time I have to clean the kitchen before I can do anything in it, even making a sandwich.
Not only are these 2 roommates messy, they have boys over ALL the time. Which whatever, they have social lives, GREAT! However these boys sleep over and use our showers and walk around half naked. Which makes me pretty uncomfortable that there are half naked boys walking around. I know they are doing things behind closed doors because we have heard them, which is just gross. I don't want to know what you are doing behind closed doors, just saying.
This last week they have done something that they have never done. I opened my freezer to get some of my ice cream and inside was a very LARGE bottle of Vodka in my freezer! I was shocked! I could not believe that not only were they having sex in my apartment, they were drinking too. The Vodka disappeared an hour later when they went to a party but it reappeared a couple days later in out living room. It was on our coffee table 3/4 gone. I just don't know what to do!
I mean we are all adults and we all have free agency. However, we live in BYU approved housing. None of us are BYU students but it is still BYU housing. It makes me uncomfortable that all of this is happening in my home. I don't even really want to be home if I know they are going to be there. I feel like I should do something but at the same time they are moving out, plus I am not a tattle tale (spelling? lol). They said really soon but I learned last night that they have not sold their contracts yet. So now I don't know what to do.
So I am asking for HELP!!!!! Please give me advice on what to do.

Real Steel

So on Saturday I went to see Real Steel with my friend Emma Stuckey. It was so good! 

When I first saw this preview, I was like Robots fighting, really!??! But I was pleasantly surprised when watching this movie. First of all, Hugh Jackman is SEXY, so that was a perk of the movie. Besides that the boy in it is very strong willed and very funny. It made me laugh and it made me cry at one point (I know I am a wimp). It was just an all around GREAT movie. So I would strongly suggest that you go see this movie in your local dollar theater or rent it on Redbox when it comes out.

Exhausted!

That is how I feel after a busy busy weekend. I feel like I did not get enough sleep. It is Monday and I am just exhausted! Friday and Saturday were run, run, run type of days. I didn't even go to my apartment on Friday night. I ended up sleeping at my friends house because I was there till 1:30AM. So we went to bed but then her 3 little boys woke us up at 7 AM. I did go back to sleep for 2 more hours but I was so tired. Then on Saturday night I was out until 12:30AM. I slept till 11:30 on Sunday morning and I don't think it was enough. Then on Sunday night I went to bed at 10PM. I was soooo good. I went to bed early so I would get at least 8 hours of sleep but I layed in my bed and could not fall asleep. Just tossing and turning. Finally I must have fallen asleep but I woke up in the middle of the morning (4AM). I went back to sleep but when my alarm went off at 6:20, it was really really hard to get up out of my bed. I just want to go to bed and stay there for like 12 hours. Oh well that is not going to happen because I have to work.
